Yes....well - I remain hopeful. Exploration like this is always a speculative and high risk business, and as a retail investor the information available on which to make an investment decision is limited. I appreciate why some are sceptical - it's a healthy attitude to have - but my investment decision was made on the basis that Mithril is a small but in my view well led company. David Hutton has come in as MD with a strategy to maximise use of available capital. He has refocussed MTH on prospects which are more suited to the company size and resources, and secured (in my view) tenements in areas with which he is familiar and which show some genuine potential.
The Board has excellent depth of experience and the company has been willing to adjust its strategy as the exploration (and market) evolves. Ie. the focus now spreads to Ni as well as Gold, in line with the interesting Ni early results, and the rising Ni price.
Sure - the drill program may prove to be a disappointment, and I'm hanging on the results too. I guess "early to mid June" was a general indication of the timeframe - and Friday this week would still count as "late middle June" lol. (If you feel generous). I think David H has been doing a pretty fair job at keeping investors informed, through official releases and the BRR interviews. He is certainly doing that better than the MDs of other companies I could name.....
it it may end in a fizz, but I still feel there is a fair chance that it will be the fizz which follows the popping of a champagne cork... If not - well - that's the speccy exploration game and a case of bad luck - and MTH will move on. I'm prepared to back them a while longer, but we all have to weigh our own risks, and I'm certainly only investing cash I can afford to lose.
best wishes to all MTH holders!
Cheers
Dave
