A practical question. Should a takeover loom, and an offer is made and the board chooses to take it up, do we then get X shares in the takeover entity? How is this converted? Is this a once only offer? Is there any negotiation? Obviously one would expect WAF to fight for the best price.
Several questions really, I suppose. Maybe the takeover entity it a better bet, for production and economy of scale reasons, rather than rejecting the offer and being the 'orphan' until production, as someone herein has suggested.
Probably as new thread issue, and apologies if it is, but someone who's been involved in a similar situation might be kind enough to elucidate, not on the probability (which isn't yet assured or even measurable) but on the process and possible time frame.
(If I've missed a thread which deals with this then my apologies but please direct me to it)
