Yeah Esh, someone is going to get a bargain.
I imagine that quite a few large producers have been running the numbers, and if it wasn't for sovereign risk, this would have been swallowed up 6 months ago.
It is increasingly important these days, where the gold is found, rather than how much, or at what grade.
Currently, there are a few large gold producers exiting the African continent, Anglo-gold included.
WAF needs a company that is prepared to take on the African risk, perhaps someone like Resolute.
