Yes, the asymmetry here was quite something. I wagered nearly 1% of my portfolio at an average price of $0.04 (4c). I believe it was a rational thing to do - and whether or not it actually paid off does no alter the validity or otherwise of the decision. In fact, it could be well argued (I believe) that I was being too conservative with my 1% restriction.
