what happens if sp is above 1.00 when options expire
i suspect many will buy the options for 1.00 then a significant proportion will sell them at market thus driving the price down.
despite being an etf it can still trade at a discount to nta value and in fact has for most of its life.
hence i transferred my on market etf holdings to direct unit holdings off market with platinum mostly due to concerns about the options issue.
a few months after they expire this issue should be resolved as long as the sp isnt too far from the nta value, then it will be a more attractive vehicle for investors seeking asia exposure
what happens if sp is above 1.00 when options expire i suspect...
