That's exactly what he means. 2 companies with similar products, similar market potential, at similar stages of development ... assuming 4DS is currently trading at a fair value, that makes WBT a steal.
"... And what does 4DS have that WBT doesn't that explains the difference in price?", you may ask?
Answer: 4DS has a dedicated team of pump 'n' dumpers and a bunch of googley-eyed retail holders drinking their kool aid.
Full disclosure: I hold both 4DS and WBT. But I'm watching 4DS keenly and will be selling to a free-held position in the near future, in preparation for the inevitable drop. I did the same thing on 4DS late last year. The mistake I made was re-accumulating a bigger position in August when it looked like it had made a recovery and was running again. Still, thanks to the steps I took to free-hold during the initial run and buying again lower, I still got out on September 20 with no loss and bought back after the dust settled.
From July to September 2018 the 4DS pump 'n' dump team whipped up a frenzy around the first batch of wafers, making the claim that these were the final step before big commercial $$. They're using a similar strategy now, this time focusing on the trivial detail of a meeting and vote on January 18 happening to fall before some other thing on January 19.
I've not seen that kind of silliness over here at WBT. And, accordingly, the SP is staying sensible for a speculative stock of its nature. Sure, it may not feel that sensible to people who understand the technology in WBT's hands and the potential it has - but the SP is determined by the wider market. Few people trading on the ASX would have the first clue what significant technologies these are that 4DS and WBT are working on. The 4DS trading pattern is a good example to everyone investing in this speculative space of how a company with genuine fundamentals can become a target for unscrupulous folk to make a quick buck.
