Am I reading the announcement correctly? Silvaco will develop the software model that allows an easier path to adopt ReRam modules through the use of extended 'soft' design and testing. I assume the benefit to Silvaco comes through the sale of it's software to companies wishing to trial\use ReRAM in their own designs. The vote of confidence you're talking about is Silvaco being willing to put the time into this project on the prediction of future sales - yes?. It would be interesting to get a timeline of when Silvaco will deliver as I guess it will be easier for WBT to negotiate future partnerships once the model is available.
