Like most, I would also like to see my investment in WBT shares looking a bit more promising at present, but have taken the long term position here, waiting for commercialisation, which has always been forecasted for late 2020/ early 2021. WBT is a speculative investment, boom or bust, and what happens to the SP until 2020/21 is left for the traders to play with. My major concern is how much dilution will take place between now and then.

Management haven't always pulled the correct reign at the right time, but I don't think they have done a great deal wrong either. Transparency has always been there, whether we liked what has been put on the table or not. Seed investors selling hasn't helped, world politics and downward market trends haven't helped either and throw in a negative market perception regarding share consolidations, the SP has been spanked.

"the inability of WBT to bring product to market" - not sure if this is really relevant, they have always been clear as to when they believe a commercially viable product will be on the market, we are still a couple of years away. 
"this latest announcement is not really fooling anyone" - it wasn't a price sensitive announcement and not sure if it was meant to fool anyone. It is simply keeping the information starved market informed as to their progress in another potential application. AI is going to be an extremely lucrative market in the very foreseeable future, not a decade away, and I personally couldn't be happier with WBT in conjunction with Leti, exploring possible opportunities that might arise.
