    Hi Micvw,
It's a roadblock in a sense that it creates the illusion of sell pressure. For people who don't watch the depth all the time (which is the majority of people excluding DTs) what they see is there's a short pressure at a certain level, and if they need to time their investments or settlements of accounts, it is harder to breach those levels without some larger amounts of volume.

Psychologically it's a way of keeping a share price low without actually selling out. For example if I wanted to buy at 3.0 and 3.1 cents (which you can see there's support of about 2.5million shares) I would conversely put a few big sell orders at say 3.4 - 3.6 cents (depending the trade range for the day and last few days) which would help me push down to the lower 3.0cent and 3.1cent levels. I can put a conditional removal of those orders whereby if the stock hit just below my sell order, I would move the sell order up one or two pips.

This all works for people who are able to play (relatively) large amounts of shares, and are holding (relatively) large amounts. Realistically though with a market cap of around $30m give or take, whats $100k of volume traded?

    Hope that made some sense.
