I think its more of a marketing strategy. Lets be honest it has been designed it now needs further tweaks and blam it hitting the world. Winning a 1.5 million prize looks nice imo. The board would just be showing off it but it wouldn't develop the overall company.

Its like going to a science fair, people borrow your ideas and make it better. By doing so they keep their technology under lock down and when something is about to strike BLAM 100m company right there. All great Technology comes down to timing. I learnt that through business analysis of various tech companies during the tech rush earlier this year.
Think about it Myspace VS facebook who survived? AZK marketed it great based on a virtual model imo could be made through paint.........

its all down to how you market the idea. Remember renewable energy is still a touchy subject. The government is not helping at all (TONY ABBOT) but given a longer time frame and letting the idea sink it and learning of other companies failures. Potential is there.

Now till then a long wait. IMO a good portfolio should contain both short and long term shares. SHE and MPL are both my long term holds
