Zwu - you are also comparing the walnut sale price for GNS, which was for the land and trees owned by Gunns, with the price paid by the MIS investors for their rights to the produce from the trees. They are actually 2 very different assets so it is not strictly correct to compare the 2...it is apples and oranges.
Having said that I agree with Gambier that MIS was a mugs game and that investors in the walnuts will realise they paid way too much for the rights to the produce. Whether a project transform happens...it might be possible, as I say MIS schemes are outdated and dead and buried so a new structure needs to be found...maybe they wont need an RE at all!
