On my first reading of this announcement there didn't seem to be anything new. However, after reading between the lines, I think there are some important messages for us.
First, 2 rigs are: "drilling gaps in the current Resource with the aim of increasing the confidence level of the Resource to JORC Indicated status." This comment implies that AML is moving towards a mining strategy for the 3.6 km of resource (i.e., Marley and Vardy).
Second, the third drill rig is exploring west and east of the resource to verify their geological model. The results of that work will allow AML to plan for mining of new areas along the fault after Marley and Vardy are being mined (and providing cash flow).
Third, the team is drilling for water which is important for getting environmental approval for mining operations.
Fourth, the results of the seismic survey are being prepared. This work will help AML to better understand the extent of the system and prepare for future exploration.
So, it's a pretty concise announcement. IMHO the team is hard at work and they must be pretty excited/enthusiastic about their discovery. Good luck amegos.
