The nastiest thing about all of this is that BRM/YML only got to where it is because the management marketed the benefits in the local market, and BRM attracted a substantial and loyal group of shareholders.
Now they turn their backs on them and are an inconvenience to be dispensed with. We were critical (collectively) at various points in keeping BRM going, particularly in the GFC and a lot stayed loyal the hostile takeover - to our cost. I seriously don't know how Norgard and Paterson sleep at night. I wonder how many of their personal friends and networks they have burned over this.
