I've seen tactics used by other companies before where fundraising is repeatedly delayed to avoid insolvency. While there's still a glimmer of hope that funds are coming in the directors can say they can reasonably declare themselves as a going concern. It's much better for them to have funding that keeps getting pushed back instead of admitting funds are tight.
I'm sure this isn't the case with Atlantic however IMHO they're as safe as houses.
