Vanguard themselves are the best countercyclical indicator on the market with their appalling track record in all their investment decisions, the news of them exiting the gold space is the best long-term bullish indicator for gold and gold stocks in years.
All we need now is for Trumps "trade war" rhetoric to be recognised for what it really is, a currency war and the US inflating it's way out of debt and exporting inflation into China, and inflation may finally return to the world stage, imagine what inflation would do for the price of gold then.
