On that note nguyendz, I remember clearly how certain holders warned to get out of NST back when it was in the $2-3 range? Due to a director selling down their shares hard @ the time & saw that as a red flag event. Going back further, pre M&A action when they were around 90c-$1. I was only a newcomer to gold stocks & every time I tried to enter I instead balked & blew opportunity after opportunity from that time on. RRL was different story with massive flood etc etc.
@eastwest101 agree 1000%! WAF are in a certain phase where holders have no choice but to wait it out for the time being. Company have stated they intend to mine the thing so, time is the punisher here, if you are short.
If one is convinced that WAF is nothing more than a t/o target from here out, it will no doubt be revealed to market with predator details then, sell if that's not your thing but, all depends what your entry buy was? If there was to be a t/o soon who really thinks it won't be for @ least 50% premium (only this low due to POG sentiment/sector sentiment)?
A side note, if brokers/bankers secured stock below current level then, they can hamstring the stock & sell slowly into each & every ann made, hindering value sp for many months, as has been the pattern over some time here now afaik... Seen this with BDR in the frollicking days of aold when cracks began to become clear with their pathetic grade control. Not comparing reasons here obviuosly as BDR is/was a producer but the pain & angst holders felt & went through was soul-destroying with probabaly many still suffering or fell on their knives by now. How the hell has WAF performed badly as an explorer? Again, I cannot see any reason for anger here by holders other than the decision management took to not clarify whether they would be seriously going to mine for a fair time until more recently deciding to in fact do so. That bothered me & I saw sp drop as a result but, company resource only grew!!! Wasn't decision to wait after all due to the lower grade resource they faced until they found the high grade u/g resource that soon after made it possible the idea to mine open pit whilst including u/g in mine plan as a single going concern? So, reworking the infrastructure to where we have this larger resource with higher grade? What's not to like @pilburro as eastwest101 has asked you? Is the real reason you remain so disgruntled because you paid too high an entry price to ride? Compounded by the fact we sit @ yearly low? Understood! But, you should imho ask yourself is it better to stay (knowing you will recoup your money & some within next 18 months?) or, if your loss will be minimal, wait til it crawls back to say 36 then, run! Your choice m8 & I've been here a few times before & still am with one stock but, I choose to wait it out because I see life & it only getting better form here out! WAF will rise again buddy you can count on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
