Y'know what is most likely to have happened is that the ASX pushed them into a trading halt because they weren't comfortable ie couldn't understand why the share price was going up when GLN had nothing to announce.
I mean, late afternoon trading halt just before close, doesn't exactly sound like it was planned by the company. Then nothing to release for a week.
I think they were pushed.
