Correct me if I'm wrong, I may just be playing with semantics here, but the extention merely gave an expectation...
"The Company requests that the voluntary suspension remains in place until the Company makes an announcement to the market, which it expects at this stage to make no later than Monday, 14 January 2019."
Therefore, even without an announcement today, they are still in suspension without needing an extension until they do actually make an announcement. They just haven't delivered on their expectation.
