What exactly is "late at night"? The last extension announcement was released at 8:17pm, was that past your bedtime?

If announcements being released after close reduces your (or any other shareholders') trust in management then we must have some very fickle shareholders. Naturally, I want the announcement to be released as I really want to know what it's about and to satisfy my curiosity, but I also accept the announcement will come when the negotiations are complete and the company is in a position to release a definitive announcement.
