The company will do what they need to do. If they are negotiating agreement(s), they will release the announcement when they have some concrete outcome. Hence, while we hope they can complete the required tasks soon, we must be prepared that they might take more time (ie more extension).

Yes shareholders will be jittery due to uncertainty. I hope the company is not unduly pressured to quickly close the deal against a better deal. As I mentioned before, our negotiation power declines significantly if we are under pressure. We just have to learn to manage our emotion and eagerness for clarity and let the management work out the best deal for us.
