It's possible but you only see part of the reality, therefore it's hard to judge on the quality of management, this is why investors will always meet the people and see how sharp they are.

It's that or there is a complex situation that keeps getting more complex and therefore you can't plan the timing properly.

Maybe it's due to the fact they mistakenly got the name of the investment out? Maybe this has changed something somewhere, could be very complex.
