What VIC may be expecting and what they actually get are most likely to be two entirely different things. I think this latest announcement amounts to a pious hope that the ASX will not be asking any more questions but I wouldn't want to bet on that.
VIC management are just holding out the hope that the ASX is going to reply to some answers that VIC has sent in (have we been privy to those latest answers ?) and is hoping that there won't be any more questions. Then the ASX will give the nod of approval.
It may happen but I wouldn't bank on it.
