I must admit to being a little puzzled. We are told in today's announcement that VIC is waiting for fresh questions from the ASX......
....."pending receipt of further queries from the ASX,and a release of an announcement responding to these queries."
So today is Friday. Is VIC expecting to get the questions today ? Does VIC know already what the questions will be about ?
I am puzzled by the time frame. How can VIC request an extension of just a week (to Friday morning 26th October) if it does not have the questions yet. When it gets the questions it has to sort out its answers, supply them to the ASX, who then has to consider the replies. Maybe the ASX will have further questions.
So how can VIC state that it expects the suspension to end next Friday after it makes an announcement responding to the queries. ?
Something does not seem to add up here to my mind. Anybody able to offer a credible explanation to what is puzzling me at the moment.
