Think of it this way.
If he sold $39,000 at 1.4c he would reduce the value of his holding by $122,000. Then another $26k and he would drop another $120k.
Seems a pretty expensive choice to realise $66k and burn $240k in the process. So, one would think fairly unlikely. I used to get angry paying $2 at an ATM. This would be like getting out $50 and paying $200 in fees.
