The exploration target for Batu Perak is interesting - 8 to 12 million tonnes of between 5% and 7% combined base metals (Pb+Zn+Cu), between 1 and 2 g/t gold and between 60 and 80 g/t silver: approximately 400 to 600 thousand ounces of gold, 20 to 30 million ounces of silver, and 1 to 1.5 billion pounds of base metals.
That adds to the JORC they already have at Batu Hitam/Mas of 592,000 ozs of gold and 27.7 million ozs of silver. Essentially doubling the deposit to 1.2 Moz gold or 2.4 Moz gold equivalent.
Pretty good for a company with a market cap of $20 million - less than ten aussie dollars per oz of gold equivalent in the deposit. And its share price was three times what it is now a year ago?
