Ann: Visable gold and commencement of mining at Rose of Denmark, page-31

When I went into ROD there was a pile of 'rocks' to the right of the adit entrance. We were with Joe, OH&S guy at the time.
I remember him saying there was 1600 tons and to have a look as you would see visible gold. We all hunted for a few minutes and Joe just sighed and said it must have all been knocked off. Dont know whether the rocks were from adit clearing or mining but Joe reckoned it was all pretty promising. That said some of Joes stories in the pub made me think he was a master embellisher.
I got in because of ROD, still have reservations but it's worth a small punt for me.
