What makes you think that TPGs current share price is trading based on pre merger announcement status? Don't you know that markets are forward looking and re-rates of TPG share price must have taken these things into account? It would be another thing to argue that market "SHOULD" factor other things what you have mentioned but markets don't work on the sentiments of a single individual like you and me.
Anyway, I will not argue further on this. It's very clear that you are not invested so definitely your interest, if any, would be to talk down the stocks. It's fine and you can keep trying. Best of Luck.
