Re AGMs, well it seems you are stuck getting fed BS from management at the ones you attend and announcements as things in announcements also come to pass. Can you not pick genuine Managers and read body language when they speak to you face to face? Maybe it’s your general approach or poor interpretation? I’m not naive enough to think timelines are cast in stone, that’s where pip traders get anxiety attacks because holding a stock beyond their own mindset starts burning at them. As an investor it’s the progressive company events that matters even if it takes longer than expected

I’ve been to quite a few AGM/EGMs and one-on-one meetings, I’m very comfortable with what I get told, maybe I speak more genuinely interested in the company and have the honest look  The meeting was great by the way as @beisha posted and you appreciated It fills the gaps between announcements and describes the forward looking business plan which companies aren’t usually allowed to announce publicly. Think about it!
