NTU's first shipment 6 pallets 2,578 kg according to the Dec 27 announcement "first heavy rare earth carbonate loaded on ship and expected to sail in the coming few days" Still along way off the 275,000+ kg they expect to be producing a 1/4, they have not even cracked 1% yet.
Lovely pic of the 19 workers behind the pallets, not sure if any of them are indigenous locals, or has their training center not been built yet.

Oldtimer would you like to give your opinion as to how much per kg NTU will receive for their carbonate?
To break even for last 1/4's estimated cash out flows of $5,560,000 divide by the exported carbonate would be roughly $2,156 per kg for a mix that I believe is only worth about $8 dollar per kg.
And George is on record saying 30-35 AUD $'s per kg. ref to post 36627337


Now will they then receive $10,000,000 pre-payment (which was supposed to be early 2018) or is that no longer part of the deal?
I have not seen any announcement to the market to suggest that the 10 million is not going ahead.

Is there anyone following NTU that believes the pilot plant will be financially viable?
And if you were the Chinese would you pay from 75% to 115% premium to help to keep NTU afloat?
