Interesting read regarding various competing techs. I have gone through all of them and in my opinion, they are not competitive enough in many aspects with UTR. The 10 minutes advantage Storedot claims to have is not really any advantage in close inspection of all parameters involved.
UTR, if it is compatible to use a solid electrolyte and still retain its current charging ability, the world is theirs. The bottleneck of Li ion battery is not just charging. if we consider EVs and devices needing transport like iPhones or iPads or anything that has high Li content in it, the chances of forming dendrites via liquid electrolyte and short circuiting is the bottleneck. An entirely new perspective in relation to the shift in EV and electronic consumables.
Solid electrolyte if used with ultracharge anode, it can use Li metal and the battery becomes ultra in safety, charge and longevity. So it's like running the one and only gold mine.
I am a holder. No matter what. DYOR
