Should StoreDot's battery cycles be proved to be lower compared to UTR, but still in a good range to be marketable, we might also have the two technologies coexisting in different sections of the EV market.
For example, owners of a Mercedes or other expensive cars, might quite easily opt for the ease of 5 minutes charging, despite having to replace the battery after several years, as they can afford it.
Owners of medium-low priced EV and public transports might instead opt for the cheaper solution, as despite the hassle of longer charging time, they have the certainty of not having to replace the battery, saving therefore money in the long term. Also of interest is the fact that the bigger part of the vehicles market is made of average-low cost models.
