You buy/sell shares and what people are prepared to pay is the price - they have given a significant discount for cash. If they have determined the new value to be 2c...its easy don't pay any more unless deals/news etc come into play otherwise your paying the SIs 2.7 for a 2c stock...would you pay 1.5Million for a 900K house...I think not
My general view is they should not be able to discount greater than 20% and that all trades should be monitored during VWAP as it is IMO manipulated down in many cases so they can get a better price/higher margin
I would like to see a Retail Investor Pool (RIP) created where together we compete with the SIs/Brokers who in many vases have very little long term interest in the stock/small end of town
