Yes there's no doubt Dr Melrose lost a bucket of money in the decline of Chemeq.

Dr Melrose resigned as CEO in August 2005 and ceased acting in any Executive capacity in September 2005;
He ceased acting as Chairman in January 2006 but remained as a non-executive director until retiring from the company in August 2006.

Korda Metha were appointed administrators in September 2007 and the company eventually went into receivership.
