My friend did work for a mining company in the "investment department" and he/she said that management never cared about stock holders as it's just all about their own money. So, I would never think any members would care. As long as fat paychecks come in (which is paid by "retail investors"), that's all that matters.
Just make sure you write down every names of every board members and listed management staff that was working failed companies, and be weary of them when they are in other companies.
