Where does it say that BTX1503 doesn't include Permetrex?
Permetrex is a transdermal gel that is designed to deliver pharmaceuticals through the skin far more effectively.
BTX1503 is essentially CBD formulated with this transdermal gel (read: Permetrex), which is why recent phase 1b results were so impressive and also demonstrated in the follow-up clinical studies, which showed how effective Permetrex is in boosting the levels of drug actives in the dermis.
Direct application of CBD does not penetrate the skin in sufficient concentrations to have any measurable effect on acne, which is why the Permetrex drug delivery system underpins the Botanix product platform.
