Some of these share purchases may be disaffected former DCN investors .... have a look at the DCN blog outpouring of grief and anger from 'loyal shareholders' who believed that DCN was the next great thing .... the same sharp selloff could hit SLR if they don't meet guidance. Apparently the latest repeated AISC from DCN and NST make SLR's AISC look quite respectable .... OMG .... warning warning. The next quarterly report will be crucial - meet guidance (or better) and SP consolidation will ensue ... don't and SP volatility will return. On relative value, should DCN have a MC greater than SLRDRM ? A SLR SP of 100c = MC of approx $900m .... relative good value or not? In Nordes latest update, he gives good overview of stocks, but gave only a brief mention of SLR ..... he got DCN wrong but is correct in spotting the overvaluation of GOR, NST, SAR having bought them at lower levels for profitable trades ... as he once did with SLR. He remains enamoured with the potential of WAF and CDV but I suspect he thinks SLR has upside constraints .... his analysis of the immediate future of the POG is positive and probably correct, so for the time being, a rising tide will lift all boats ... but beware a change in tide.
