Of course there was another meeting/discussion.  The goal posts have changed if you read the two announcements. In theory for MED to have majority of independent directors they are only required to take on 1 more independent director.  There are obviously discussions between ASX and Merlin regarding termination of AXIS arrangement and new agreement.  I know Gutnick has some gall, but do you really think that he would draft an announcement outlying "recent" discussions with ASX that are as you say false and misleading to then have them released by the ASX to the market??  Hmm understand there are some extreme Negative Nancy cynics around here but this takes the cake of wackyness!

Suspension until end of March would be nice, thanks ASX!  ... brilliant timing as the wet season fades, new equipment commissioned, mining plans are finalised and fresh ore processed.
