I have remained quiet since my immediate reply to Kiwiboys opening volley which was inpart directed at the illusive, flamboyant and debonair character "@&" that appears in many of my posts.

Sometimes we overlook the historic relevance of an eduring symbolism. As time passes it may appear archaic, irrelevant or worse.

lest we all forget, or as the case maybe , never knew, the Alpaca Army and its courful psudo character "@&" were born at a time when the good Dr went about consolidating the multiple minority holders into an entity with voice, an entity that could resist hostile take over, an entity that the BoD had no choice but to listen to, an entity that protected the interest of all of us whether we be new or long term, young or old. The only prerequisite was being a current share holder.

As a result a network was constructed that enabled the dissemination of highly detailed geological research. Meeting between the then BoD the good Dr were held from time to time and the BoD new they could not ignore the little share holders.

Ultimately the good Dr was appointed to the BoD and i imagine has a very active role in current events
all designed to benefit or protect the interest of current share holders. He worked tirelessly for share holders on a voluntary basis and i have no doubt that even under his current terms of appointment does not recieve adequate compensation.

If anyone is an "Alpha male" it is the good Dr who coordinated and empowered the vulnerable. I for one will not let his efforts and the many around him be insulted by an ill considered rant.

In saying the above the continued benefit or use of the psudo shareholder "@&" may well have run its course and i take on board comments about his now irrelevance. That will result in modifications to accommodate the "new view".

i have now said what i feel need be said to recognise the value of some of "the aged long termers" and in particular the the good Dr in his pursuit to protect the little holders.
