Central Appalachian coal has collapsed in price and sells for about the same price as Bayan's Indonesian coal.
WEC have been obscure about the company they are proposing to buy and so it isn't possible to work out its value compared to other similar mines.
Hopefully Director Hans Mende is involved as he is the only American Director and also owns 50% interest of America's largest thermal coal exporter.
So I don't have any concerns about this particular deal -- trust Hans.
