From what I can see the ann told us nothing but for, as I read it Placha has gone from all aspects of CFO now if I read right he is no longer at Carbon innovations as well, if so great, the so called personnel reasons would be that he was useless, along with the rest of the board, now that this bloke is in control it is his job to get rid of any other dead wood,
He has made this his baby now so it is up to him now to turn this around.
I have said for some time that Placha was useless and the others, tha the excuses they kept making were rubbish, the only thing now is has this bloke got the goods or a way to make new excuses,
But he is taking a small salary and back ending it was performance,
He has obviously just told us the board has performed poorly and is planning to change this poor performance,
It has not taken him long to work this out, I could have told him 10 months ago,
I would like to see more specifics on what he plans to change, I would like to see current production levels and sales but we should see this within a week..
We should see some more specifics in the plans at that time,
I wonder how he sees the relationship going forward with Touchstone, I think CFO are reliant on present Touchstone contracts but this in time must change because CFO could not continue to be primarily a Touchstone spin off but instead aggressively chase commercial applications and contracts that is CFO and not Touchstone, after all that is why they said they listed.
Under Placha with his large salary this didn't seem this would happen, and him being at Carbon Innovations was just shuffling the deck chairs, so great news he went,
CFO needs someone to expand to be able to show potential customers they can meet and supply product is contracts are given,
So good, next he should address this issue that a chairman has little or no influence on the business, I believe there must be 2 directors based here plus a sec, but do not think one needs to be the chairman, someone can let me know if this is not the case.
But good to see Placha gone, hope the new bloke meets his performance milestones,
The first step is to acknowledge there is a problem, done, the next is to fix the problem.
Maybe we can start to see this huge potential develop to reality,
He has grown a business before, once one climbs Mt Everest it should be easier the second time.
