Aldi are just a pimple on an elephant's back.
the only reason they are even retaining 11% market share is because Coles and IGA are the only players out there. but now , when Woolies restructure under Mr Banducci's control, Aldi will actually lose sales en masse.
let's face it, Aldi sell dressed up home brand quality product with fancy labels, have minimal range of product offering , charge you surcharge for using your credit card , have zero rewards program , no petrol discounts vouchers and to top it off, if you buy their garbage you are supplied with no carry bags unless you buy them.

and of course, you have to return your shopping trolley back yourself to get your $2 deposit back.
mind you, i just love the communal atmosphere-it's like trying to shop in a big shed.

crickey- i think the germans will have to rethink their modus operandi real fast as the Motherland won't be pleased.
