They even buy sites they don't need to keep Competitors from opening up in Camberwell years ago when Wow purchased DJ Evans Hardware site si Coles would not put in a supermarket. They put in Dan Murphy and Dick Smith and paid top dollar for site to.protect their monopoly in the area. Now they have to.protect themselves from Aldi so I doubt they will sell off the sites or relinquish the leases without thinking Dan Murphy or poker machines maybe?
