But if they want to sample a particular area, and they need to dig out material before they get to it, then that should not count for gt, or should it ?
Did they need to process more than the 10kg ? or was the rest of material you mentioned above not processed (discarded as waste), only the 10kg was processed.
If more had been processed, would they not be incorrect in saying it was from a 10kg sample. They would not do that.
Once they have the results they require to plan, they may be able to do a shaft directly to it, going through mainly paydirt where possible.
This is exploratory at the moment.

That 10kg sample which they tested was an indication of expected g/t for the ore zone, so some or all the the mined material may end up going to the mill.
