From memory I though tthey said that Wondoola had 30K head and the other three
properties had 50K head so in total it was 80k across the 4 properties
So if the maximum fatality numbers from that worst case scenerio turns out to be
correct, then we have lost around 55k head from a total of 82.5K or
somewhere between 65% to 70% in total, plus calfs
That is considerably more than the figure that I had guessed, I
know that this 65% to 70% loss is worst, worst case scenerio, but I had
guessed somewhere closer to 40 tp 50% across the 4 properties,
but I had no real way to work this out...as I said just a guess/hope
No mention of insurances, no mention of benefits downriver to our
other properties, no mention of the explosion of grass, no mention
of the possibility of moving cattle from the Barkly to the gulf
No further updates until May
Just negatives
Not what I wanted to read IMO
