Show of hands how many of you guys here think, they will discover something at Mars Aurora it is a very big drill programme and if this does not deliver than we are all stuffed. I keep going back and reading about the Challenger Gold Mine discovery and the company responsible for the discovery then Dominion Ltd first took control of the area in 1993 and the discovery was made in 1995 with the first major production carried out in 2001. It took them approximately 2 years to find the discovery, and It has been 2 years since Apollo acquired the tenements at Mars Aurora, I keep reading up on the techniques used at Challenger.

Comparisons of Methodology with Challenger.
i) They first applied Calcrete sampling which helped to identify the Challenger anomaly.
ii) RAB drillings were carried out on an east - west angled position which had intersected values of 4.4 g/t at 12 m etc and more RAB angled drillings confirmed the lode orientation (which is explained in the drillings announcement from 15/3/2015 Apollo ASX)
iii) Once the lode orientation was identified they started drilling and the discovery was made.

Apollo Minerals
i) Previous calcrete sampling helped to identify gold present in the area by another company and since then a 6km NE trending magnetic anomaly has been identified which is defined by a coincident 1.7km gold in calcrete anomaly.
ii) Maiden Reverse circulation drilling of 3 holes commenced last year with the intersection of the 4 m at 5 g/t gold identified and the other two holes consisted of potassium rocks etc.
iii) Now drillings of Reverse Circulation will be carried out on 3 areas which form the central basis of the IP survey and RAB surface geochemistry with gold contoured lines identified.
iv) A total of 35 holes to be drilled approximately at closed angled holes along the north to south to delineate the shallow gold trend. Once the trend is identified such as the one above with Challenger identifying the lode which involved further drillings that led to a discovery.

So who thinks a discovery will be made or do you think we may have to wait for the third round of drillings? Challenger had identified the lode through RAB and we are doing RC which penetrates the ground more and goes into deeper areas. Some healthy opinions on this will be good boys!
