For some reason I can't help imagining that a 'backyard operation' in a poor region like MIZ's should be able to operate on a shoestring, but I guess the opposite is probably true, with economy of scale coming into force. They used to talk of having 'high grade' ore to mill, though. Was that all somebody's fantasy? Anyway, if the gold price does rise further it can only help. Just perhaps the new operators could turn a profit and then the picture may brighten somewhat. If they could only get the ball rolling again and make a few bob in the process it could induce someone to fund a little drilling. Promising exploration results can often be the catalyst for excitement, and with an operational mill to back them it does offer a chink of light.
