Just a slight deviation...... but an ice seller in the desert would do a roaring trade with the right setup. Solar powered freezer, setup in a key location with lots of foot traffic near a well, reasonable pricing structure. A cool glass of ice water would be like liquid gold....... Might need a different metaphor like "Go broke quicker than a sand salesmen in the desert". Quality always trumps quantity. Just saying.
