not smart is when a company promises to provide a dividend and doesn't have the money in the bank to fork out, and then turns its back on SH. it is a very bad move in more than one way. the current SP is almost equal to the value of the cancelled dividend. even worse.
that the company has not gone belly up is not much to brag about. can TS bring this back... possible, but little past evidence to show that he can do it. and his expenses are ludicrous given the performace. this doesnt give the market much hope. if hetook a massive haircut, untangled some of the sillier sport affairs from the business, then public might take this seriously. untill then it wont get market traction unless TS pulls off a whooper (which is the more unlikely secenario).
