He is not a part of the group of shareholders that make up the second person plural in this instance.
e.g. "We are the share holders". Or as Munro states "We have aquired" etc. referring to the shareholders acquision and implying that he is a part of that group.
The "we" tells me they he has previously held and had become accustomed to using the word "we" with regard to CFE stock.
On another more constructive topic, the mining downturn, including the failing Iron Ore price, resulted in a large number of companies collapsing and/or closing mines with massive reductions in income. It was mainly the larger blue chips that survived. Sorry that your dividend didn't get paid but at least CFE survived through the hard times.
I believe they are a strong company with an impressive portfolio including their interests in a broad range of future mining assets held either directly or through companies in which CFE hold a large percentage of shares.
All corporations have external costs such as facilitation fees, consultant fees, corporate advisors, administrative fees, legal fees and even sponsorship's, such as Soccer teams, Rugby League teams etc.
The larger and the smarter ones move money around in a far greater way than CFE do. Take a look at the Rio Tintos of the world or the big banks or even mid to small caps and the number of subsidiaries paying each other for services rendered, when is the last time Rio Tinto advised shareholders of their confidential adviser who assisted with a project, if you were to ask them they would tell you it is commercially sensitive and basically to get lost.
