Hi stash, I started the rollercoaster ride back on 2011. Went through a few antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilisers etc and ended up on lexapro (escitalpram) for about two years as well. It sent me manic though which I was enjoying for a couple a of years but it gets too much to handle especially for people around me, had to be slowed down. Wasn't sleeping often. No longer on lexapro just a mood stabilizer lamictal to stop me going flat out or bombing out too bad. Was in depression mode for over a year then and doctor wouldn't give me any antidepressants as he said not good for my condition. I've been through so many meds in can't remember them all,. Absolute nightmare really. I wonder whether I would have been better off without it all but maybe not, I just wanted a to die at the time which I don't any more, which is a good thing I guess. I'm pretty much best that can be hoped for now I think. Has taken a long time to even get this far. Had some sleep after the last long posts and then woke up decided I had had enough of sitting around staring at a screen all day and feeling bombed out so packed my bag and am down the snow this week with my eldest daughter, beautiful weather here. Sometimes life's not so bad. Expect I'll bomb when I get back home though. excess energy can't last forever wears one down . It's kind of comforting to know I'm amongst others that can understand. My last post played on my mind since I wrote it. Was going to ask admin to pull it down. Only just catching up on hotcopper this morning. Everything seems to be going well except CFE. Would be nice to know what they're doing. Trading halt etc.
